There are now three houses that in earlier days were part of a large building that was used for storage of sugar and grain, delivered to Cazalla by train. Storage was needed, because the railway station was, and still is, at 8 km from the town. The sugar and grain were important ingredients of the anis liquor that made Cazalla famous all over the world. We have restored this historic building to convert it into a place to rest and relax. An ideal place to disconnect, because of its natural environment, which can truly be called a paradise on earth.

Our house is surrounded by the waters of the river Hueznar and its typical “gallery forest”. Also our gardens are full of plants and trees, which makes our place one of the most privileged within the Natural Park Sierra Norte de Sevilla.

Nature lovers will be surprised by the abundant variety of fauna and flora. And also by the many ways to enjoy this, two areas to have a picnic and relax, three walking tracks, areas for fishing trout, and off course the Vía Verde “Sierra Norte de Sevilla”, the former railway track of 18 km that has been prepared for walking and cycling. It starts at only 25 meters from the “Paraiso del Huéznar” and leads to the “Cerro del Hierro”, the old iron mine with its characteristic red rocks, an area declared natural monument. Just a few steps away from the house you walk into this beautiful natural environment.

You will find yourself not only in the middle of nature, but also at a strategic point, at the crossing of the roads between Cazalla de la Sierra, Constantina and San Nicolás del Puerto. In San Nicolás you can visit the springs of the Huéznar river, and also, 2 km before arriving at the village, the waterfalls of that same river, which also have been declared a natural monument.

Our house has very good access, directly from the road between Cazalla and Constantina. For our guests who like to arrive in train from Seville, the Cazalla-Constantina railway station is only 400m away from the house. The distance to Cazalla is 8 km, to Constantina 11 km and to San Nicolás 12 km. For those who like a good walk, through the mountains it is only 5,5 km to Cazalla.

The apartments “La Nutria”, “La Trucha” and “La Garza Real” have capacity for respectively 2, 4 and 11 people (maximum). They are comfortably equipped, electric ity, central heating, microwave oven, vitro-ceramic cooker, hydro-massage shower, chimney, satellite TV, DVD, porch, garden furniture, barbeque, firewood. You have shared use of washing machine, dryer, and iron. There is a public telephone, mountain bikes for rent, walking sticks, 120 square meter swimming pool, private parking, etc. Also we can arrange for several services: guided walking tracks, horse riding, donkey carriage, mountain climbing.
